Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
With Ac and strong 4×4 Safari Jeep
Upon arrival at kigali international airport, you will be picked up by the tour guide of Primate Safari Experiences and take a city tour as your driving to Nyungwe Forest National Park , the best destination for chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk.lunch en route and arrive in Nyungwe in late evening check in the hotel for dinner and over night at nyungwe forest lodge, Gisakura Guest house .
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest
After Early morning breakfast you will drive for 1 half hours journey as you go for chimpanzee Trekking, you may also take the different trails to visit various primate troops, enjoying the cool and breathtaking environment. Dinner and overnight at the lodge above.
Day 3: Canopy Walk in Nyungwe National Park and transfer to Gisenyi
Morning Canopy walk to watch the birds and other primates.
After morning breakfast, you will go for the morning canopy walk in the same national park as you watch other primates and birding during the activity, Later drive to Gisenyi in the northern province of Rwanda and arrive in the later evening . Dinner and over night at Lake kivu water front breach/ Discovery youth hostel / lake kivu Serena Hotel.
Day 4: Boat cruise and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
In the morning hours you will go for the boat cruise to visit some islands on lake kivu, Watch the local community and visit the fishing villages and if the sky is clear you stand the chance of seeing the most loved Hiking mountain called Nyiragongo Volcano in Congo return to the lodge for breakfast and you will drive to Ruhengeri and arrive in time for lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Le Bamboo Gorilla Lodge /Muhabura Hotel.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After Early Morning breakfast, you Transfer to the park headquarters where you will meet the ranger guides. After the briefing about the Gorilla Trekking Dos and Don’ts you will begin the search of mountain Gorillas. The Gorilla trek can be quite tough that it takes a lot of time approximately 2-8 hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking Kigali city
After a relaxed breakfast, you will either go to track the golden monkeys in the same volcanoes national park and return in lunch time and after drive back to kigali to catch the flight back home.
