Day 1 :Pick up & Drive to hotel
Recommended for Wildlife safaris.
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver guide, greet you and since it will be already night, you will be taken straight away to Namirembe guest house for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Transfer to Kibale for Chimpanzee tracking
Early morning you will transfer to kibale national park , the lovely destination for chimpanzee tracking , lunch will be en route , and afternoon you will do chimpanzee tracking, Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp/ Mountain of the moon/Chimpanzee Guest house.
Day 3 :Transfer to Bwindi forest national park through Queen Elizabeth National Park
Relocate to Bwindi forest national park Wake up very early in the morning and embark on the long drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park with en-route lunch.You will reach late in the evening and check in for dinner and overnight at Buhoma community rest camp/( Driving time is 6-7 hours from Kibale to Bwindi passing through Queen Elizabeth National Park) stop for game drive in the ishaha sector.Dinner & overnight at Buhoma Community Rest camp/ Lake Mutanda resort/Kisoro travelers inn.
Day 4 : Mountain Gorilla tracking
Bwindi Gorilla Safari-Trek the gorillas in the jungle
After a morning heavy breakfast and with packed lunch you will transfer to the park offices for briefing and then later on at 9:00 am commence the gorilla trek along the tracks in the thick forest searching for these great apes. Depending on the movement of these humble giants the trek might take between 2-9 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. Though the walk is tiresome meeting these great apes and spending some time with them while looking deep into their expressive brown eyes, is an exhilarating and heart breaking wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight as above
Day 5 : Drive to Congo Bukavu
On this day you will wake up very early in the morning and have a cup of coffee. Then you will embark on your safari jeep and drive to the Uganda –Border at Cyanika.You will complete the border crossing procedures and then enter into Rwanda. Here you will drive to the through Ruhengeri,Gisenyi until you get to the Rwanda-Congo border at Cyangugu.Here you will be driven by another guide from the Congo side to Bukavu where you will reach late in the evening and then have your dinner and overnight at Panorama Hotel /orchids hotel/ Far horizon
Eastern lowland gorilla trekking in kahuzi biega national park
Day 6 : Lowland Gorilla trekking day.
On this day, you will wake up very early in the morning for a morning breakfast. Then you will be transferred to the gorilla trekking starting point at Tshavara in Kahuzi Biega.You will get into the real gorilla trekking experience here and then afterwards you will return to Bukavu for your dinner and overnight at Panorama Hotel /orchids hotel/ Far horizon .
Day 7 : Transfer to Kigali.
On this day after your morning breakfast, you will be driven to the border at Cyangugu to cross again back to Rwanda. You will then head back to Kigali with en-route lunch and then reach Kigali later for the flight.
