Virunga National Park has opened up again the main tourists attractions in Democratic republic of congo , congo gorilla safaris has also un suspended the gorilla trekking & Climbing Nyiragongo volcano in Virunga National Park the oldest national park in Africa and the 11th in world after the second oldest Yellowstone National Park in America.
Virunga National Park is the oldest national park in the Democratic republic of congo and the second largest national park after salonga National Park . Located between Eastern part of congo known as the home for the mountain gorillas in Africa after Rwanda ‘s Volcanoes national park & Mgahinga National park.
The Park was closed last year in June after the military attack to the two British tourists and we park lost a ranger who died at young age while providing security to the tourists in the great Virunga .
The National Park foundation said on 15/02/2019 that they have officially opened up the tourists activities in the great virunga , mostly visited national park in congo once on a combined safari tour to Kahuzi Biega National Park for lovely Safari holidays in Congo . Although there might be some changes in the charges , the officials stated that the security issue was resolved and even the local community are to participate in the tourism.You can now book your accommodations , Gorilla trekking , Chimpanzee tracking & Climbing Nyiragongo Volcano.
